Qubits was founded following the global disruption of 2020, when deep inequities in access to quality digital learning became impossible to ignore. We set out to build a comprehensive K–12 computer science curriculum supported by a robust learning platform that could scale globally.
In 2025, we partnered with Ellipsis Education, a U.S.-based K–12 computer science curriculum provider founded in 2018. This united two teams with complementary strengths—combining global reach with deep U.S. classroom insight.
Later in 2025, we formed an exclusive distribution partnership with Cengage Learning, expanding our ability to bring high-quality CS education to schools in 150 countries.
